H.R. 1: (PL 111-5, 123 Stat. 115 (2009)) The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, all provisions related to the distribution of federal government funds for the deployment of broadband to unserved and underserved areas throughout the United States.
H.R. 2165 Bulk Power System Protection Act of 2009, all provisions related to the cybersecurity of bulk power systems.
H.R. 2902 Broadband Internet Fairness Act, provisions related to the authorization of the FTC and the FCC both reviewing service plans of broadband Internet Service Providers to ensure plans are fair based on costs.
H.R. 6320 Communications and Video Accessibility Act, provisions related to enabling those with disabilities to have better access to emerging Internet Protocol-based communication and programming technologies.
S.418 Secondary Metal Theft Protection Act of 2009, commented on provisions related to record keeping by metal recycling agents; payment processes; possible enforcement tolls; and creation of "Do Not Buy" list.
S.773 Cybersecurity Act of 2009, all provisions related to ensuring the security of cyber communications.
S.1266 Broadband Conduit Deployment Act, terms related to the requirement that broadband conduit be installed as part of certain highway construction projects.
Issues related to Cybersecurity: Commented on Senator Rockefeller (D-WV) and Senator Snowe's (R-ME) draft legislation on provisions concerning the National Institute of Standards and Technology's collaboration with the private sector on the development and application of certain security standards.
