Tax Relief, Simplification & Reform:
Home Office Deduction: Supported Senate Amendment #4430 to "Small Business Jobs Act of 2010" to streamline and simplify rules for deducting a home office.
Extenstion/Permanency of 2001 and 2003 Tax Relief: Support full permanency or long-term extension of relief in income tax, capital gains, dividend, and death tax rates -- as well as small business expensing.
Capital Gains Stabilization: Support Senator DeMint's bill to stabilize capital gains tax rate at 15 percent.
Death Taxes: Support full repeal
Burden Relief: "Small Business Paperwork and Mandate Elimination Act," H.R. 5141, S. 3578 -- support repeal of section 9006 of new health care law that expands 1099 reporting.
