S 336 / HR 679 - American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 - An original bill making supplemental appropriations for job preservation and creation, infrastructure investment, energy efficiency and science, assistance to the unemployed and state and local fiscal stabilization, for the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2009, and for other purposes. Interested in the following provisions: Surface Transporation and Water Development Funding; School Construction; Davis-Bacon Act Application and Enforcement ; Department
of Energy Waste Clean-Up; Future Generation / Advance Coal Technology; Renewable Fuels Loan Guarantees; Energy Efficiency / Federal Buildings Retro-Fitting; Department of Labor Green Jobs; Department of Labor Job Corps; Deparment of Labor Departmental Management; E-Verify Program; and National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).
S 1 / HR 1 - Economic Recovery Package - A bill to create jobs, restore economic growth and strengthen America's middle
class through measures that modernize the nation's infrastructure, enhance America's energy independence, expand educational opportunities, preserve and improve affordable health care, provide tax relief and protect those in greatest need, and for other purposes. Interested in provisions including public infrastructure modernization; energy efficiency retrofits and modernization; school construction / retrofits; technological expansion, specifically to expand broadband internet access to rural areas; and modernization of the healthcare system to lower healthcare costs.
HR 1105 - Omnibus Appropriations Act of 2009 - A bill making omnibus appropriations for the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2009, and for other purposes. Inclusion of rider language that would prohibit the Department of Labor and Department of Homeland Security from expending appropriated funds to implement or administer the H-2B regulations each agency published as final rule under the previous Administration.
S 10 - Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2009 - A bill to restore fiscal discipline and begin to address the long-term fiscal challenges facing the United States, and for other purposes.
National Defense Authorization for Fiscal Year 2010 - An original bill to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2010 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities fo the Department of Energy, to prescibe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes. An amendment to the Defense Authorization Act to authorize funding for the Center for Military Recruitment, Assessment and Veterans Employment Program. Also includes the relocation of military facilities from Okinawa, Japan to Guam. Amendment to include H-2B visa immigration language. No bill number yet.

HR 1262 - Water Quality Investment Act of 2009 - A bill to amend the Federal Water Pollution Control Act to authorize appropriations for state water pollution control revolving funds, and for other purposes. Opposition to the Mack Amendment that
would strip language to require contractors to pay prevailing wages on projects finances by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund
program.
Climate Change - working to ensure the application of Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements to projects. No bill currently exists.

HR 1404 - Federal Land Assistance, Management and Enhancement Act - A bill to authorize a supplement funding source for catastrophic emergency wildland fire suppression activities on Department of Interior and National Forest System lands, to require the Secretary of the Interior and the Secretary of Agriculture to develop a cohesive wildland fire management strategy, and for other purposes. Opposition to the Goodlatte Amendment that would authorize the Agriculture Secretary to enter into contracts with state.
foresters to prepare and implement "good neighbor" projects on National Forest System land to complement any similiar project being performed on bordering or adjacent non-federal land. This amemdment would also provide that the decision to proceed with a good neighbor project is in the Secretary's sole discretion.

The proposed amendment is a modification to the Energy Credit provisions of 26 USC 48 to incorporate a broader array of energy efficient technologies and other green building practices. The proposed amendment would include green transit-oriented developments that meet energy reduction standards.
