Support greater multilingual engagement and cultural sensitivity regarding NEPA.
Supported the proposed hunting and fishing plan for the Chesapeake Marshlands National Wildlife Refuge Complex and the phase-out of lead tackle and lead ammunition which pose serious threats to eagles and other wildlife.
Requested a 45-day extension of the October 6, 2022, deadline to submit comments on the 2023-2028 National Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas Leasing Proposed Program and the Draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement to ensure more of the public, particularly in remote or underserved communities,be given a meaningful opportunity to weigh-in on agency decision-making processes.
Encouraged the White House and Treasury to implement the Inflation Reduction Act provisions in such a way that affirms that geothermal heating and cooling systems for buildings can be owned by a third party (i.e. not the building owner) and can still receive tax incentives for their installation.
Opposed and urged Fortress Energy to reconsider proposed floating LNG export facility projects.
