HR 1879, S 812 The Promoting Automotive Repair, Trade and Sales(PARTS) Act of 2017; amends federal patent law to allow for the sale and use of non-OEM repair parts 30 months after a motor vehicle is first offered for public sale. We support these bills which will allow continued competition in the repair parts market, thus holding down auto repair and insurance costs for our policyholders.
