Allowing NPS and DOT to coordinate resources for road, bridge and tunnel projects using Highway Trust Fund and Legacy Restoration Fund dollars; Implementation of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act regarding funding for surface transportation projects that facilitate tourism, the development and implementation of a national travel infrastructure strategy, and proposals to reduce the deferred maintenance of national park road projects; Proposals to enhance U.S. transportation infrastructure, including by increasing funding for airports and highways, funding projects that improve mobility between different modes of transportation, National Parks Deferred maintenance backlog for road, funding for scenic byway projects, and providing grants for electric vehicle charging infrastructure; Designating senior-level leadership for tourism at DOT, and directing the DOT to develop a national travel infrastructure strategy on a reoccurring basis (H.R. 3684, S. 1931, S. 1516, S. 2015); Implementing the Great American Outdoors Act for National Park, and public land road projects.
