Working to extend telehealth payment parity and ending geographic origination site restriction.

Support of the Safe Step ACt (HR 2163/S. 464) to help patients and physicians by requiring insurers to implement a clear and fair appeals process that is easily accessible on the plans website that allows step therapy to be bypassed in medically necessary circumstances such as when a patient is already stable on a therapy

Request for an Oversight Hearing on the Implementation of MACRA and Physician-focused Value-based
Care Initiatives.

Support for Resident Physician Shortage Reduction Act(S. 834) to expand the physician workforce by gradually raising the number of Medicare-supported GME positions by 2,000 per year for seven years, for a total of 14,000 new slots.

Support for H.R. 1868, to extend the moratorium on the Medicare sequester and act to prevent mandatory PAYGO cuts, including 4% Medicare spending sequestration, stemming from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.

Thank you for to House/Senate leadership for alleviated payment cuts to providers across the health care delivery system set to take effect under the 2021 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) via language in the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021.

Support of H.R. 315/S.748 the Medicare Sequester Moratorium Act of 2021 to eliminate Medicare sequester cuts through the duration of the public health emergency (PHE).

Thank you to Congressional leadership for expansion of Medicare funded Graduate Medical Education (GME) slots in the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 and ask to work towards additional support in the future.
