Provided feedback on H.R. 5239, Cyber Sense Act of 2018, to establish a volunteer program that identifies and promotes cyber-secure product intended for use in the bulk power system.
Discussed the need for enhanced background screening of utility employees and provided feedback on draft legislation.
Discussed support for legislation to improve the hydropower licensing and relicensing reform -- H.R. 3043 and provisions in S. 1460.

Expressed opposition to the President's FY 2019 proposal to divest the transmission assets of the Power Marketing Administrations (PMAs) and Tennessee Valley Authority and to change PMA rates from cost based to market based.
Lobbied in support of an amendment to H.R. 5895, the Energy & Water Development Appropriations bill for fiscal year 2019, to prohibit the use of funds to carry out privatization of the PMAs and/or TVA.
