H.R. 2642 - H.R. 2642 is now the Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2008 (the war supplemental). H.R. 2642 was previously the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Act, 2008 and was incorporated as Division B in the H.R. 3043 conference report, subsequently removed from that bill, and enacted in H.R. 2764, Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2008.
Specifically research budgets for NASA, NSF, DOE, and NIH. KU communicated thanks to congressional delegation.

HR 3195, the ADA Amendments Act of 2008, is to restore the intention and protections of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, providing a clear and comprehensive national mandate for the elimination of discrimination on the basis of disability; Section 4, Sec. 4. Disability Defined and Rules of Construction, supporting legislative clarification that H.R. 3195 (see next page)
that the bill will not change the principle that entities, including institutions of higher education, need not make modifications to policies, practices or procedures that would fundamentally alter the nature of programs or services, as is true under current law.23
