Support of managerial training reform across the federal government; support of the extension of the probationary period so that it begins after a federal agency or department's training period is complete; opposition included in the House and Senate Budget bills, H. Con. Res. 27/S. Con. Res. 11, as they called for reductions to federal retirement plans, the Thrift Savings Plan, the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program, and general attrition of the federal workforce; opposition to the Federal Employee Tax Accountability Act (H.R. 1563), as it called to deem those who are seriously delinquent in tax debt ineligible to continue serving in the federal workforce; support of examining the use of administrative leave throughout federal agencies and departments; support of extending lifetime credit monitoring for federal employees affected by the breach of the Office of Personnel Management's cyber systems; support of the Competitive Service Act, S. 1580, as it calls for federal agencies to review and select job candidates from other federal agencies' "best qualified list" of applicants, cutting down on duplication for applicants who have already undergone a competitive assessment process and are certified as eligible for selection; support of the Program Management Improvement and Accountability Act, S. 1550, as it would call for government-wide standards, policies, and guidelines for program and project management for executive agencies; opposition to the Stop Wasteful Federal Bonuses Act (S. 2263), prohibiting bonuses for federal employees who are not in good standing with their agency.
