Opposition to various House and Senate proposals including S 3044, HR 6251 and HR 6515 (and others without bill numbers) that would reduce natural gas and oil exploration and production by adding new regulatory requirments and increasing taxes and fees.
Support for Appropriations amendments to increase offshore oil and natural gas leasing, development and production.
Suppport for bills to increase access for oil and gas leasing, development and production, including S 2958, the American Energy
Production Act, and HR 5437, the American-Made Energy Act, and similar bills including HR 5656.
Opposition to S 2191, America's Climate Security Act, or "Lieberman-Warner Bill" as reported by the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works and its provisions that would reduce natural gas supply. Also the Boxer Substitute, S 3036. Support for drafts and concepts of climate bill provisions (no bill numbers) related to apropriate location of natural gas emission fees.
Opposition to Sec 526 of the Energy Independence Security Act of 2007 related to the U.S Government procurement of alternative fuels based on lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions, and various proposals to repeal it.
Opposition to various provisions of HR 5577, the Chemical Security Anti-Terrorism Act.
Opposition to HR 2421, the Clean Water Restoration Act to expand the definition of "Waters of the Unites States".
