Signed letter asking requesting that all health education materials related to COVID-19 be accessible in at least 19 written languages and American Sign Language, support for interpretation services at COVID-19 testing sites, and to make comprehensive data available through the collection of regular reporting of language and disability characteristic of COVID-19 cases
The Alliance for Aging Research publicly supported S.Res.655 - A resolution declaring racism a public health crisis.
Signed a letter to House Telehealth Caucus in support of Protecting Access to Post-COVID-19 Telehealth Act of 2020 (HR 7663).
Signed a letter requesting $10 million for the Administration on Community Living and $4 million for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to increase support for falls prevention.
Had a meeting with Senate Finance staff to discuss the Committee's priorities to improve the treatment and care coordination for Alzheimer's disease patients after its hearing entitled "Alzheimers Awareness: Barriers to Diagnosis, Treatment, and Care Coordination"
Signed letter requesting Congress address the need to expand access to COVID-19 and influenza testing and immunization by designating pharmacists as providers under Medicare Part B.

Call with the FDA to discuss public communications regarding COVID-19 vaccines
The Alliance for Aging Research submitted a comment letter to the FDA regarding our priorities for the Reauthorization of the Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA).
Signed an Ad Hoc Group for Medical Research letter requesting that a COVID-19 relief package include $15.5 billion for the National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Signed a letter to the Department of Health and Human Services expressing concern for the NIH Human Fetal Tissue Ethics Advisory Board. The letter asked HHS to reject the Ethics Advisory Boards recommendations through 42 U.S. Code 289a-1(b).

Had meetings with HHS and CMS to discuss the proposed national coverage decision (NCD) memo for mitral valve Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair (TEER)
Signed a letter to the Center for Clinical Standards and Quality proposing principles around the coverage of beta amyloid PET scans.
Submitted a sign on letter to Congressional leadership in support of an annual out-of-pocket cap in Medicare Part D, a mechanism to smooth patients OOP costs over a plan year, and a commitment that Part D reforms not include international reference pricing in coverage or reimbursement decision-making.
Signed a letter on the Establishing Minimum Standards in Medicaid State Drug Utilization Review (DUR) and Supporting Value-Based Purchasing (VBP) for Drugs Covered in Medicaid, Revising Medicaid Drug Rebate and Third-Party Liability (TPL) Requirements (CMS 2482-P). The letter expressed concern over a provision that would increase barriers to access of care that would require drug manufactures to include the value of cost-sharing assistance when calculating best price.
Submitted a letter to the Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services on the proposed national coverage decision (NCD) memo for mitral valve Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair (TEER)
Had meetings with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to discuss the appropriate use of psychoactive medication in long-term care facilities.
