H.R. 624 - Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act. Issue: Cybersecurity and Privacy
S. 1193 - Data Security and Breach Notification Act. To require certain entities that collect and maintain personal information of individuals to secure such information and to provide notice to such individuals in the case of a breach of security involving such information, and for other purposes. Issue: Privacy
H.R. 1468 - SECURE IT. Authorizes private entities to employ countermeasures and use cybersecurity systems to obtain, identify, or possess cyber threat information on its own networks or the networks of another entity with such entity's authorization. Issue: Cybersecurity and Privacy

S. 1927- Data Security Act of 2014. S.1976 - Data Security and Breach Notification Act of 2014. Requires the FTC to promulgate regulations requiring each covered entity that owns or possesses data containing personal information to implement policies and procedures regarding information security practices for the treatment and protection of such information. Issue: data security and privacy
S. 1193- Data Security and Breach Notification Act of 2013. Requires commercial entities that acquire, maintain, store or utilize personal information to take reasonable measures to protect and secure data in electronic form. Issue: data security and privacy.
S. 1897-Personal Data Privacy and Security Act of 2014. The bill would establish a national standard for data breach notification and require American companies that collect personal information to protect that information from cyber threats. Issue: data security and privacy
S.1995- Personal Data Protection and Breach Accountability Act of 2014. Amends the federal criminal code to impose a fine and/or prison term of up to five years for intentionally or willfully concealing a security breach involving sensitive personally identifiable information when such breach results in economic harm or substantial emotional distress to one or more persons. Issue: data security and privacy
Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2014, draft legislation incentivizes the sharing of cybersecurity threat information between the private sector and the government and among private sector entities. Issue: privacy
