H. Res. 15-resolution expressing the sense of the House that the Postal Service should take all appropriate measures to ensure the continuation of 6-day mail delivery. The association endorsed the resolution
H. Res. 28-resolution expressing the sense of the House that the Postal Service should take all appropriate measures to ensure the continuation of door delivery for all business and residential customers. The association supports this resolution
H. Res. 31-resolution expressing the sense of the House that the Postal Service should take all appropriate measures to restore service standards in effect as of July 1, 2012. the association supports this resolution.
H.R. 760-"Postal Service Financial Improvement Act of 2017"-allows the Postal Service to invest a portion of the money in pre-funding account into a TSP-type L-Fund to earn a higher rate of interest. The NRLCA supports this bill
H.R. 756-"Postal Reform Act of 2017"-House postal reform legislation that attempts to solve the financial position of the USPS by requiring Medicare Integration of Parts A, B, and D, uses postal specific assumptions when calculating FERS and CSRS liabilities, allows for non-postal products, creates a new governance structure, and requires a mandatory conversion of business addresses to cluster box or curbside delivery, and allows for voluntary conversion of residence addresses from door delivery to curbside or cluster box. The NRLCA opposes the door delivery conversion language, and did not take a position on the bill.

H.R. 396-"Tax Accountability Act of 2017"-legislation would fire any federal or postal employee who is delinquent on their taxes, while also making any individual with tax delinquent problems ineligible for federal employment. The NRLCA opposes this legislation.
H.R. 1022-"Federal Employees Paid Parental Leave Act of 2017"-provides 6 of the 12 weeks of parental leave made available to a Federal employee shall be paid leave. the NRLCA supports this bill.
S. 362-"Federal Employees Paid Parental Leave Act of 2017"-Senate companion bill that would provide 6 of the 12 weeks of parental leave made available to a Federal employee shall be paid leave. NRLCA supports this bill.

H.R. 1364-"Official Time Reform Act of 2017"-legislation that would limit the use of official time for political activity and to exclude union employees who spend more than 80% of their day on union work from eligibility as creditable service under CSRS and FERS. The NRLCA opposes this legislation.
