Regulation of stand up paddle boards by the United States Coast Guard. This includes, without limitation, assessing all aspects of safety for stand up paddle boards, and how stand up paddle board regulations impact the practical ability of the United States Coast Guard to enforce other regulations. The economic impact regulations have and will have upon small businesses operating in the stand up paddle board industry will also be considered. (H.R. 527, Small Business Regulatory Flexibility Improvements Act of 2015.) Additionally, any potential and/or actual conflicts of interest among members of the National Boating Safety Advisory Council will be addressed.
