House Draft Bill/ Senate Draft Bill -- Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2022 - A bill making appropriations for the Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and related agencies for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2022, and for other purposes. Advocacy in support of training and student aid programs and overall basic science and research accounts within the National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Department of Health and Human Services. H.R. 869/S. 289 -- Research Investment to Spark the Economy Act -- A bill to authorize appropriations for offsetting the costs resulting from reductions in research productivity in connection with the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), and for other purposes. Support for funds to maintain the nation's research infrastructure, including salary support for researchers, costs to ramp down and ramp back up research projects, and costs to begin new coronavirus-related research.
