Public Safety Employer-Employee Cooperation Act, concerns over impact to existing state laws for campus police and emts; oppose efforts to implement provisions of the Employee Free Choice Act, like the elimination of federally supervised private ballot union elections or mandatory arbitration for first contracts, via the NLRB; Teaching and Research Assistant Collective Bargaining Rights Act, oppose the classification of teaching assistants as employees under the NLRA;
concerns over mandatory paid leave requirements; concerns with NLRB appointees; concerns with NLRB proposal to change rules for bargaining unit determinations; concerns with new civil and criminal liability for individual directors and corporate officers, including human resource managers, included in the Protecting America's Workers Act and the Miner Safety and Health Act.
