H.Res 47-House resolution expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that Congress should take all appropriate measures to ensure that the United States Postal Service remains an independent establishment of the Federal Government and is not subject to privatization. The NRLCA supports this resolution.
H.Res 108-House resolution expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the dedicated employees of the United States Postal Service are frontline essential workers and must be prioritized accordingly for the purposes of the COVID-19 vaccination program and State vaccine distribution plans. The NRLCA supports this resolution.
H.Res 109-House resolution expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the United States Postal Service should take all appropriate measures to ensure the continuation of door delivery for all business and residential customers. The NRLCA supports this resolution.
H.Res. 114-House resolution expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the United States Postal Service should take all appropriate measures to ensure the continuation of its 6-day mail delivery service. The NRLCA endorses this resolution.

S. 145-"USPS Fairness Act"-Senate companion bill that repeals the requirement for the Postal Service to pre-fund future retiree health benefits. The NRLCA endorses this legislation.
H.R.2230-"Delivering Envelopes Judiciously On-time Year-round Act"-legislation that would prohibit the Postal Service from lengthening mail delivery standards. The NRLCA did not take a position on this legislation.
H.R. 3287-"United States Postal Service Shipping Equity Act"-legislation that would end the prohibition on shipping and delivering alcohol through the mail. The NRLCA endorsed this bill.
S. 1663-"United States Postal Service Shipping Equity Act"-Senate companion bill that would end the prohibition on shipping and delivering alcohol through the mail. The NRLCA endorsed this bill.
H.R. 3077-"Postal Service Improvement Act"-legislation to reforms the Postal Service by requiring mail in ballots have barcodes for tracking and providing paid parental leave to USPS employees. The NRLCA supports this bill.
H.R. 3076 (Public Law 117-108)-"Postal Service Reform Act of 2021"-legislation that reforms the Postal Service by requiring USPS employees to enroll in Medicare Parts A and B after a certain date, ending the pre-funding requirement, allowing the USPS to enter into agreements with state, local, and tribal governments, have the USPS develop and maintain a dashboard for service tracking, and creating more transparency. The NRLCA supports this bill.
S. 1720- "Postal Service Reform Act of 2021" Senate companion bill to H.R. 3076, this legislation would require USPS employees to enroll in Medicare Parts A and B, ends the pre-funding requirement, as well as requires the USPS to develop and maintain a dashboard for service tracking and creates more transparency. The NRLCA supports this bill.
H.R. 4268-"Federal Retirement Fairness Act"-legislation that would allow rural letter carriers, and other federal employees, to buy back their time spent as a non-career or temporary employee so their full service counts toward retirement. The NRLCA endorsed this bill.

H.R.1319-"American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (Public Law 117-2), the NRLCA worked on getting emergency paid leave for up to 15 weeks for federal and postal employees.
H.R. 5376- "Build Back Better Act", the NRLCA worked on getting a provision included to provide funds for the electrification of the Postal Service's vehicle fleet. The NRLCA supports this provision.

H.R.82-"Social Security Fairness Act of 2021"-this legislation repeals provisions that would reduce Social Security benefits for individuals who receive other benefits such as a pension from a state or local government, and eliminates the GPO and WEP. The NRLCA supports this bill.
H.R.2337-"Public Servants Protection and Fairness Act", this legislation offsets the WEP and provides limited relief for those beneficiaries impacted. The NRLCA has not taken a position.
