Primary responsibility is coordinating advocacy activities of a coalition of maritime companies and labor organization to support annual appropriations for the MSP. Advocacy for increase in MSP authorized funding levels in Title 35 of the National Defense Authorization Act Conference Report as well as inclusion of increased MSP authorization starting in FY 2017 as part of the HR 2029 -- Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2016. Monitoring of Navy & Special Operations Command shipbuilding defense funding for shipbuilder clients (VT Halter Marine & U.S. Marine Inc) of Robertson, Monagle, & Eastaugh.
