Lobbied House members in favor of a performance right in Terrestrial Radio. Bill number H.R.1733, the Fair Play Fair Pay Act of 2015. Encouraged American Fedeation of Musicians members to call, email and send letters to the Hill against the Local Radio Freedom Act5 (LRFA) H.Con.Res. 17.

Met with Secretary of Transportation, DOT staff and airline representatives to discuss terms of rule making for Musical Instruments as Carry On-Baggage. Draft Rule finally issued December of 2014. Final rule was issued March, 2015. Kept in contact with Congressman James Cooper and his staff on this issue.

Met With US Fish and Wildlife staff regarding CITES and African Elephant Ivory. Discussed pending regulations and the negative effect of Director's Order 210 as amended on import and export of musical instruments containing CITES and APHIS related materials. Met with US Department of Agriculture staff about blending of exit and arrival ports to expand the number of ports musicians can use to meet certification, requirements and permit use.

Worked with House of Representatives staff to amend tax legislation referring to Section 181 of the code, Tax Extenders. Tax subsidies for film, television and now live theater. Worked with Hill staff to promote legislation introduced in 2014, HR 5497 the Film Incentive Reform Act of 2014.
