S. 3158, Labor-HHS Appropriations bill for FY 2019 - Lobbied in support of increased funding for CMS' state survey and certification program and opposition to hostile policy riders regarding Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and various related medical care research and Older Americans Act programs.
Discussed support for medical expense deduction tax treatment.
Shared comment for the Broadband Connection for Rural Opportunities Program (B-CROP) legislation under the Agriculture Improvements Act of 2018.
Discussed Medicare Advantage (MA) benchmark caps and the impact on certain states.
Discussed Administration rules (Short-Term Limited Duration Plans and Association Health Plans) with House and Senate staff.
