Met with numerous Flag Level Federal Officials from various Federal Agencies: DOD (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps), DOE FEMP, and VA.
Met with numerous member of Congress and their staffs, including: Nominated and got selected for the Army Corps of Engineers top award, the Gold de Fleury Medal-Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee Rodney Frelinghuysen (R, NJ). Organized and moderated a Navy League of the U.S. Congressional Shipbuilding Caucus breakfast on the Hill (in my capacity as National VP Legislative Affairs of the Navy League). Attended JCI PAC events for members of Congress.
Coordinated Legislation with Congressional staffs for inclusion in the National Defense Authorization Act for: cybersecurity, stored energy, smart grid, and energy savings performance contracting.
Attended promotion ceremonies/assumptions of command, conducted office calls, and networked with senior military officials including: RA Bret Muilenburg CDR NAVFAC, SES John Kliem Director Navy REPO, Assistant SECDEF IEE Lucian Niemeyer, PDASD IEE Tad Davis, DASD Installations Energy Lisa Jung, SES Carla Coulson Deputy ACSIM, LTG Gwen Bingham ACSIM, Acting ASA IEE Randy Robinson, SES Dave Tindoll Director IMCOM Sustainment, SES Christine Altendorf Director IMCOM Pacific, LTG Todd Semonite Commander Army COE, SES Steve Iselin Acting ASN EIE, SES Mark Correll DASAF Environment, Safety, and Infrastructure, and SES Jack Surash DASA Energy and Sustainability.
Attended Navy League breakfasts with top Navy officials.
Coordinated and introduced JCFS personnel to key Federal officials at the Army Annual AUSA Exposition in Washington, DC, the Army Engineer Association Engineer Force Conference at Ft Leonard Wood, MO, the DOE Energy Exchange in Tampa, FL, and the Army Engineer Association annual Engineer/Industry Forum and Castle Ball.
Attended, networked with senior government officials, and spoke at key Federal Forums including: Annual DOE Energy Exchange, Army Engineer Association annual Engineer/Industry Forum, AUSA Installation Executive Leader Forum, and Navy League Sea Air Space Exposition.
