Support H.R. 2454, the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009, to cap global warming pollution and increase energy efficiency and renewable energy.
Work to strengthen S. 1462, the American Clean Energy Leadership Act of 2009, to include a stronger renewable electricity standard. Oppose offshore drilling and tar sands provisions.
Support S. 433 to establish a Renewable Electricity Standards of 25% by 2025.
Opposition to any efforts to undermine the accounting of the lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions of biofuels.
Support for S. 1733, the Clean Energy Jobs and American Power Act to put a cap on global warming pollution and create clean energy jobs.
Support for clean energy jobs provisions in H.R. 2847, the Jobs Funding and Year-End Extensions.
