Bills related to this objective include but are not limited to H.R. 499, The Ending Federal Marijuana Prohibition Act, and H.R. 1523, the Respect State Marijuana Laws Act.

Currently, banks are unwilling to provide financial services to marijuana businesses because of federal money laundering laws and marijuana's status as a Schedule I drug.
