We write today to urge you to reject calls to weaken the executive order by providing a special exemption for religiously affiliated contractors. Furthermore, we ask that you take this opportunity to rescind Executive Order 13279s amendment of Executive Order 11246, which exempted religious organizations that contract with the government from the prohibition against employment discrimination on the basis of religion.
We urge your office to quickly ensure that committed, loving couples who were legally married in the states of Arkansas,
Indiana, and Wisconsin have their marriages respected by the federal government.

We applaud Integrating the Healthcare Enterprises (IHE) efforts, in conjunction with the Office of Population Affairs, to develop a method for collecting and exchanging important family planning data in a systemic and structured way, and we are grateful for the opportunity to comment on IHEs proposed Family Planning Profile. Health information technology (health IT) is a foundational component of a more patient-centered, effective and efficient health care system in which women and their health care providers have access to the information they need anytime, anywhere.
We write to urge you to include Senator McCaskills bill, the TRICARE Moms Improvement Act of 2014 (S. 1994), in the FY 2015 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). This legislation would require the TRICARE program to cover breastfeeding support, supplies and counseling for breastfeeding mothers in military families, including women in the uniformed services and women who are military dependents.
We write in support of the Access to Contraception for Women Servicemembers and Dependents Act of 2014. This bill ensures that all servicemembers and their dependents who rely on the military for health care have comprehensive contraceptive coverage and family planning counseling.
We write to urge you to take immediate action to correct the unduly restrictive implementation of the Helms Amendment by issuing guidance to USAID and the State Department to allow abortion services in the cases of rape, incest, and life endangerment. Such action is necessary to safeguard the lives and health of women in developing countries served by U.S. foreign assistance.

In contemplating the expansion of administrative relief, we urge policy reforms that rescind current barriers to affordable health coverage and care for those granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Moreover, we call on the administration to ensure any future administrative relief program treats all persons eligible for relief and work authorization as lawfully present for all purposes, including for the purposes of eligibility for public and affordable health coverage programs.

Dedicated to promoting a voice in the workplace and economic security for all workers, we write to urge you to support the Schedules That Work Act. Todays work scheduling practices often undermine workers best efforts to meet their obligations at work while addressing the most critical responsibilities in the rest of their lives - including caregiving, holding down a second part-time job to make ends meet, going to school, or addressing ones own medical needs. The Schedules that Work Act gives workers a say in their work schedules, and curbs the abusive scheduling practices that have become particularly rampant in many of the fastest-growing, low-wage industries.

We urge the President to continue making womens health a priority in his fiscal year (FY) 2016 budget request and respectfully request increased funding for family planning and reproductive health programs at home and abroad.
Increasing support for Title X - Americas Family Planning Program.
This Administrations leadership has been vital to sustaining investments in womens health through the domestic Title X family planning program, the international family planning and reproductive health program at USAID, and the U.S. contribution to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). These investments collectively yield strong dividends for womens health and advances broader economic and global development goals. We urge the President to continue making womens health a priority in his fiscal year (FY) 2016 budget request and respectfully request increased funding for family planning and reproductive health programs at home and abroad.

Since we promote economic opportunity for women and full enforcement of antidiscrimination laws, we strongly urge you to support and co-sponsor the Paycheck Fairness Act, which was reintroduced in the 113th Congress.
