H.R. 2150, the Flags of Convenience Don't Fly Here Act on provisions related to the DOT process to grant foreign air carrier permits. .H.R. 1265, the Investing in America: Rebuilding America's Airport Infrastructure Act on issues related to the passenger facility charge and the airport improvement program The National Advisory Committee on Travel and Tourism Infrastructure on issues related airport funding, air service development, federal, state and local transportation planning; and air traffic control reform. Lobbied in opposition to provisions contained in the House and Senate versions of H.R.1, an Act to provide for reconciliation pursuant to titles II and V of the concurrent resolution on the budget for fiscal year 2018, to remove language that deemed foreign carriers from more than 10 countries ineligible for a reciprocal tax exemption on revenue earned in the U.S. Lobbied in support of draft legislation to change the limitation on foreign investment in U.S. passenger carriers.
Air carrier provisions of Senate Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, Open Skies interagency review with UAE and Qatar, air service modernization, increasing the passenger facility charge.

intersection of those policies with travel, in-bound facilitation messaging, and other efforts to
promote in-bound international travel to the United States. Lobbied additionally on promotion and reauthorization of Brand USA and the Presidents FY2018 budget request. Lobbied on laptop restrictions for in-bound travelers including the recent proposal by DHS to limit technology on airplanes, as well as general lobbying cybersecurity and data breach rules for businesses and corporations, lobbied on Presidents executive order and similar initiatives on travel to the United States by international visitors, as well as education on the intersections between travel and terror threats.
