Investment Advisers Modernization Act of 2016 (H.R. 5424): Supported House passage.
Accelerating Access to Capital Act of 2015 (H.R. 2357): Supported House passage.
Regulatory Reform and Modernization: SBE Council continues to voice support for comprehensive regulatory reform including streamlining regulations, more openness and transparency in the regulatory process, giving small businesses a meaningful voice in rulemakings, cost-benefit analysis, and looks-backs and sunsetting of regulations. Specific bills include:
