Federal Aviation Administration Authorization and Appropriation
--Lobbied for FAA reauthorization bill and various provisions included in H.R. 658/S. 223; lobbied for strong authorization levels, and protection of certification resources in the FAA, and to allow for federal financing for NextGen equipage. Also lobbied for extension of FAA reauthorization in absence of a long-term bill.
--Lobbied against changing accelerated depreciation for General Aviation Aircraft.
--Lobbied against imposing user fees on aircraft operators.
--Lobbied against a Federal Communications Commission conditional waiver granted to LightSquared, which could negatively impact GPS if allowed to proceed.

--Lobbied on the FY 12 DOT Appropriations bill (H.R. 2112) for the Dept. of Transportation; specifically appropriations for the FAA funding for the Next Generation Air Transportation System, and FAA certification resources.
--Lobbied against reductions in the DOD topline dollar number and especially the procurement and RDT&E accounts for the next 10 years in the Budget Control Act of 2011.

--The Army's Ground Soldier System and Mounted Warrior programs
--The Air Force's JSF Helmet program
--Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) program to include the Army's Ground Mobile Radio (GMR) and the Quint Networked
Technologies radio (QNT) with the Tactical Targeting Networking Technology (TTNT) waveform, and the Handheld
Manpack Small Form Fit (HMS) program

--Lobbied for accelerated depreciation; Lobbied against a proposal to lengthen accelerated depreciation for general aviation
aircraft to 7 years, as part of the deficit reduction talks.
