-Advocating that Section 215 of the PATRIOT Act remain expired and inoperable, or include stronger privacy protections
-Education regarding the multiple leaks out of the FBI, including the "Black Identity Extremist" threat assessment and Iron Fist program, revealing that the Bureau is targeting peaceful protesters, specifically Black protesters as well those at the southern U.S. border. Advocating to defund surveillance authorities and federal grants that lead to militarized police.
-Advocating for a ban or moratorium on law enforcement use of facial recognition technology
-Advocating for strong protections for workers including banning some of the most invasive surveillance programs monitoring them
-Advocating to ban federal law enforcement agencies from purchasing information on people within the United State from private data brokers
-Advocating placing safeguards to protect against law enforcement monitoring of social media content
-Advocating against any new domestic terrorism authorities or surveillance programs, particularly in response to the Jan 6 attack on the Capitol
