Support Republican Study Committee Budget Proposal for FY 2024.The proposal would balance the budget in seven years, cut spending by $16.3 Trillion over 10 years, and reduce taxes by $5.1 Trillion over 10 years.
Support H.R. 2811, Limit, Save Grow Act of 2023, which would increase the federal debt limit and decrease spending.
Support H.J. Res. 88, which is a congressional disapproval vote on the Department of Education rule relating to income driven repayments for the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program and the Federal Family Education Loan Program.
Support House Appropriations Chairwoman Grangers fiscal responsibility plan that would limit new spending to the Fiscal Year 2022 topline level and claw back $115 billion in unnecessary government programs.
Support H.R. 3746, Fiscal Responsibility Act which would rein in inflationary spending and claw back unspent COVID-19 relief funds. The legislation modernizes permitting of certain energy projects.
Support House FY 24 Labor, HHS, and Education Appropriations bill, which reduces spending and includes provisions to prevent the administration from implementing regulations in development concerning independent contractors and joint employers.

We supported H.J. Res. 45, a joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval of the rule submitted by the Department of Education relating to "Waivers and Modifications of Federal Student Loans"
We supported S.J. Res. 22, a joint resolution that would nullify the rule issued by the Department of Education on October 12, 2022, that suspends federal student loan payments and discharges debt.

Supported H.R. 1/S. 947, Lower Energy Costs Act that would restore American energy independence by: increasing domestic energy production; reforming the permitting process for all industries; reversing anti-energy policies advanced by the Biden administration; streamlining energy infrastructure and exports; and boosting the production and processing of critical materials.
Supported H.R. 3746, Fiscal Responsibility Act, which includes provisions that would modernize permitting of certain energy projects.
Supported H.R. 2811, Limit Save, Grow Act of 2023, which includes provisions that would repeal several energy tax credits, and modify the permitting process and other requirements for energy project.
Supported H.R. 4394, the Energy & Water Appropriations bill in the House.
Supported S.J. Res. 11, a joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval of Environmental Protection Agency rule relating to Control of Air Pollution From New Motor Vehicles: Heavy-Duty Engine and Vehicle Standards: Adopted by EPA on December 20, 2022, the rule sets stronger emissions standards for heavy-duty engine operating conditions compared to todays conditions. JCN believes that this rule is illegal and will result in increased costs for the American consumer.
Supported H.R. 1615/S. 240, which would prohibit the Consumer Product Safety Commission from using federal funds to curtail or limit the use of gas stoves or issue rules that would make the price of those products higher.
Supported H.R. 1640, which would block the Department of Energy from finalizing a rule that would significantly increase the energy efficiency standards of gas stoves.

Supported H.R. 5378, the "Lower Costs, More Transparency Act," which will help small businesses lower health plan costs by increasing price transparency to facilitate direct primary care.
Supported S. 127, Pharmacy Benefit Manager Transparency Act of 2023, which would prohibit pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) from engaging in certain practices when managing the prescription drug benefits under a health insurance plan; including charging the plan a different amount than the PBM reimburses the pharmacy.

S. 1411, Prove It Act, which would ensure small businesses have a voice in the rulemaking process by forcing federal agencies to demonstrate that any new regulation is compliant with existing laws by considering both the direct and indirect costs placed on small businesses.
H.R. 2767/S. 1243, Small Business Investment Act of 2023, which would dramatically increase private sector investment in American small businesses by rewarding investors for supporting small business.
S.J. Res. 32, resolution for congressional disapproval of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau relating to "Small Business Lending Under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (Regulation B)."

Supported S. 1706, the Main Street Certainty Act of 2023, which would make permanent Section 199A of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. That provision allows pass through businesses to deduct up to 20 percent of qualifying income. The deduction is currently slated to expire at the end of 2025.
Supported H.R. 23, the Family and Small Business Taxpayer Protection Act (Rep. Smith (R-NE), which would rescind all new IRS funding, including monies for the Biden Administrations plan to direct 87,000 new IRS agents.

Support S. 1201/H.R. 2700, the Employee Rights Act, which would modernize our nations labor policies to match the needs of the 21st century worker and workforce by promoting growth and innovation, ensuring that our laws protect workers rather than union bosses, and allowing Americans to take home more of the money they earn.
Support S. 991, the National Labor Relations Board Reform Act, which would end the partisanship by the NLRB by increasing the number of Board members from five to six evenly split between republicans and democrats; imposing new term limits for Board members; require four Board members to approve all decisions; restrain the NLRBs General Counsel and encourage quick resolution of cases before the Board.
Support H.J. Res. 30/S.J. Res. 8, House and Senate Resolutions Blocking Department of Labor rule on ESG for Retirement Accounts, which would block the U.S. Department of Labor rule greenlighting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investing in employer-sponsored retirement plans.
Support H.R. 1163/S. 1587, the Protecting Taxpayers and Victims of Unemployment Fraud Act, which would address fraud and overpayments of pandemic unemployment insurance benefits, including by providing incentives for states to investigate and recover overpayments of these benefits.
