16. Specific lobbying issues
ATOLLetc has lobbied for the civil rights for a new country called Liberland. Liberland is located between Croatia and Serbia. Liberland is the first blockchain-based country in the world. ATOLLetc would like to be transparent that Liberland is a foreign entity. However, as it works towards its global recognition, Liberland is not a country of option in the Senate system to note as a foreign entity. Liberland has citizens located all over the world and throughout the United States. In terms of civil rights, the local Croatian peoples have been using their power to destroy and confiscate the personal property of the settlers who currently reside in the land space that is not claimed by Croatia. Additionally, illegal surveillance and the banning of citizens from entering who are not citizens of the EU have been met with law enforcement and arrest. We are not assuming that this is supported by the Croatian government and that these are local actions. We seek guidance on building positive relationships which includes mutually beneficial economic development.

ATOLLetc supports the blockchain based efforts for the purpose of digital identity and freedom through digital autonomy for citizens throughout the world. As state-level governments continue to pass laws acknowledging the existence of blockchain, smaller countries that have traditionally been third world countries are building blockchain schools for grade school students. They are planning ahead to build their workforce to support government-related services in their countries. Additionally, emerging technologies such as the metaverse will require strong ethical oversight. ATOLLetc is working with clients to draft the ethical and regulatory platform of the metaverse.
