Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2011 - Urged Congress to refrain from cutting resourses from hospitals which would mean fewer nurses, longer waits for emergency care and decreased access to new treatments.
Childrens Hospitals Graduate Medical Education (CHGME) Program - Directly supports the training of pediatricians and pediatric specialists at free-standing childrens hospitals and provide continued stable funding for CHGME in the FY 2012 appropriations bills.
Clean Air Act/United States Code Title 42, Chapter 85 - Air Pollution Prevention and Control - Urged Congress to support the Environmental Protection Agencys (EPA) rules on mercury pollution from power plants (Power Plant Air Toxic Rule) as part of its implementation of the Clean Air Act, and to oppose attempts to delay or block protective health standards for major sources of toxic air pollution.

Urged Congress to reconsider reductions in Medicare payments to hospitals or Medicaid funding to offset the costs of the physician payment system.
Urged Congress and the deficit reduction committee to reevaluate the proposed deep, arbitrary reductions in critical Medicare payments to hospitals that are made onbehalf of seniors unable to meet their cost-sharing obligations.
Urgerd Congress and the deficit reduction committee to reject proposals that would undermine the Medicaid program including combining the various Medicaid Federal Medical Assistance Percentages (FMAPs) provided to states into a single blended rate for all populations and services, then make an across-the-board cut to the overall rate.
Urgerd Congress and the deficit reduction committee to oppose any Medicare and Medicaid spending caps on any subpopulation, especially dual eligibles.
