S1276-The Private Fund Transparency Act of 2009. NVCA wants language clarification to exclude the venture capital industry.
HR 711 - The Hedge Fund Advisor Act of 2009: NVCA opposes any inclusion of venture capital industry in this bill.
Title IV - Registration of Advisors to Private Fund; oppose administration language to require vc firms to register with the SEC.

The SBIR/STTR Reauthorization Act supported Title II of the bill which would allow venture capital companies to compete for SBIR/STTR grants and other SBA Programs. HR2965: Enhancing small busines research and innovation act. S1233: a bill to reauthorize and improve SBIR/STTR programs for ther purposes.HR3738: Small Business Early Stage Investment Act of 2009: establishes a small business early stage investment program at the SBA. HR5297: The Small Business Lending Act of 2010,
Title III, establishes a small business early-stage investment program at the SBA. NVCA supports this provision.
