Extension of renewable energy production tax credit and restructuring of the PTC and accelerated depreciation related to renewable energy projects to ensure they work during the economic downturn. Specific bills lobbied on include: HR 1424, Troubled Asset Relief Program; Financial Industry Bailout bill, Title III, Division B, Section 101 and draft economic stimulus bill , Small Wind investment tax credit. The creation of a consumer investment tax credit for small wind systems.
Also creation of a certification standard to determine investment tax credit eligibility for small wind systems.
