1. APGA has lobbied for passage of legislation that would provide refund authority to the FERC under Section 5 of the Natural Gas Act. Such legislation would protect customers of interstate natural gas pipelines from being overcharged.
2. APGA has pushed for full funding of the LIHEAP at the $5.1 billion level.
3. APGA has lobbied against the export of LNG: E.G. the Natural Gas Export Certainty Act, S. 2638.
4. APGA has lobbied against the DOE's Residential Furnace Standards rule.
5. APGA has lobbied against the implementation of Section 433 of the Energy Independence and Security Act which would ban fossil fuel generated energy from new or modified federal buildings by 2030.
6. APGA has lobbied generally on the issue of energy efficiency arguing that natural gas has a critical role to play in meeting energy efficiency goals.
7. APGA has lobbied generally for the passage of legislation to incent the development and deployment of Natural Gas Vehicles including LNG Excise Tax Equalization Act of 2013 (S.1103).
8. APGA has lobbied HUD generally about the importance of natural gas appliances in terms of cost savings and energy efficiency.
9. APGA has lobbied for public natural gas LDCs in FERC's ongoing gas-electric coordination issue.
10. APGA has lobbied Congress and the DOE with concerns about the social cost of carbon metric used in appliance regulations.
11. APGA has lobbied on the issue of GHG regulations with respect to boilers and other equipment.
12. APGA has lobbied for natural gas as a part of the Quadrennial Energy Review.
13. APGA has opposed the Waters of the U.S. rule by EPA as it would increase costs for municipal LDCs to perform routine maintenance and to construct new distribution infrastructure.

1. APGA has pushed for passage of legislation and rulemakings that increase natural gas market transparency and provide the CFTC with resources needed to ensure the appropriate level of oversight.
2. APGA has opposed legislation and rulemakings that would require LDCs to post margin for OTC derivatives.
3. APGA has lobbied against the Federal Reserve's NOPR prohibiting Bank's subsidiaries' ownership of commodities, arguing that such a ban would harm municipal LDCs to do prepays, which lock in purchases of natural gas for small towns and save taxpayer dollars.
