Support for congressional House sign-on letter to leadership asking them to address the cuts to the Medicaid Disproportionate Share Hospital Program.
Request congressional engagement on Informational Bulletin released by CMS on February 17, 2023 related to permissible state financing arrangements in the Medicaid program.
Support provision in the The Lower Costs, More Transparency Act (HR 5378) that would repeal two years of cuts to Medicaid Disproportionate Share hospital program and oppose provisions that would implement site neutral payment policies and new mandatory reporting requirements on hospitals about price transparency, 340B and consolidation.

federal crime to assault or intimidate a hospital employee and as a result interfere with the ability of that employee to perform their duties.
Endorse The Rural Hospital Technical Assistance Program (HR 4713) which would codify an existing USDA program that provides TA to vulnerable rural hospitals to help them keep their doors open, maintain essential healthcare services, and strengthen financial stability.
Provide comments to proposed rule CMS-1793-P (Medicare Program; Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System: Remedy for the 340B Acquired Drug Payment Policy for Calendar Years 2018-2022 (RIN 0938-AV18) - supporting the proposed 340B lump sum payment and opposing the budget neutrality adjustment.
Provide comments to proposed rule CMS-9904-P (Short-Term, Limited Duration Insurance; Independent, Noncoordinated Excepted Benefits Coverage; Level-Funded Plan Arrangements; and Tax Treatment of Certain Accident and Health Insurance) - advocating for high quality comprehensive coverage and supporting the Department of Health & Human Services-Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (HHS/CMS) and the Department of Labor (DOL) for limiting the availability of substandard health plans and taking steps to ensure consumers are properly educated on the coverage limitations of STLDI.
