General provisions related to FY 12 appropriations priorities, in particular federal student aid programs, federal support for science and engineering research including biomedical and defense research and other programs that support research institutions and academic medical centers.
S xxx, the FY 12 Interior-Environment Appropriations Act provisions related to funding for the National Endowment for the Humanities.
S. 365, the Budget Control Act Communicated to the Joint Committee on Deficit Reduction, focused on crafting an equitable and sustainable agreement that protects federal investments that grow the economy such as education and research. Also, provisions related to potential health care cuts including cuts to GME and the Medicaid provider assessment.
H.R. 2112, the FY 12 Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act provisions related science and engineering research, specifically related to NSF, NASA and the USPTO.
H.R. 2055, the Omnibus FY 12 Appropriations bill provisions related federal student aid, science and engineering research (DOD, DOE Office of Science, DOE ARPA-E, IES, and NIH), international education, the NEH, and other priorities.

Discussions regarding a Senate letter to Defense Secretary Panetta urging him to delay the implementation deadline for their MOU for participation in the tuition assistance program.
