H.R. 2307 - The Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act. In support. This bill places a gradually rising fee on fossil fuels based on the greenhouse gas emissions that would result from their combustion, returns 100% of the revenue as a per-capita dividend, and includes a carbon border adjustment.
In addition to support for the above bill, we also lobbied in support of carbon pricing generally.
S. 1251/H.R. 2820 - Growing Climate Solutions Act. In support. The Growing Climate Solutions Act creates a certification program at USDA to help solve technical entry barriers that prevent farmer and forest landowner participation in carbon credit markets.
S. 2130 - Reinvesting in Shoreline Economies and Ecosystems (RISEE) Act. In support. The RISEE Act creates dedicated funding streams for coastal infrastructure and resilience efforts to safeguard vulnerable communities and businesses most threatened by sea level rise and coastal erosion.
S. 2950/H.R. 5508 - Fostering Overseas Rule of Law and Environmentally Sound Trade (FOREST) Act. In support.
