MADE RECOMMENDATIONS TO CUT FUNDING FOR THE LOCKHEED MARTIN VARIANT OF THE LITTORAL COMBAT SHIPS (LCS) BECAUSE GENERAL DYNAMICS VARIANT IS LESS EXPENSIVE AND NO LESS EFFECTIVE.

MADE RECOMMENDATIONS TO CUT FOUR SUBMARINES FROM NEXT-GENERATION FLEET BECAUSE A SMALLER FLEET WOULD SAVE MONEY AND STILL SERVE AS A ROBUST DETERRENT.
