S. 2193 - Ensuring Safe Medical Devices for Patients Bill - Supported the legislation which will help protect the safety of patients, reduce medical errors and strengthen the ability of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and manufacturers to monitor adverse events.
HR 1852 - Childrens Hospitals Graduate Medical Education (CHGME) Program - Directly supports the training of pediatricians and pediatric specialists at free-standing childrens hospitals and provide continued stable funding for CHGME in the FY 2012 appropriations bills.
Clean Air Act/United States Code Title 42, Chapter 85 - Air Pollution Prevention and Control - Urged Congress to support the Environmental Protection Agencys (EPA) rules on mercury pollution from power plants (Power Plant Air Toxic Rule) as part of its implementation of the Clean Air Act, and to oppose attempts to delay or block protective health standards for major sources of toxic air pollution.

H.R. 3630 - Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2011 - Urged Congress to reconsider cutting more than $20 billion in hospital payments including cutting payments for evaluation and management services.
FY 2013 proposed budget - Urged the Administration to reconsider blended federal Medicaid payments to states, limiting Medicaid provider taxes, cutting funds for training physicians and other health care professionals, reducing Medicare Bad Debt Payments, and rebasing Medicaid Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) Payments.
Urged Congress to rejecting the massive $810 billion in proposed cuts to Medicaid in the H.CON.RES.112 , FY2013 House budget resolution.
