2. Kinome: Support report language in the FY17 House and Senate Labor, HHS, Education appropriations bills related to kinome research at the NCI through research and center grants that support institutions with a critical mass of expertise on particular cancers, including ovarian, to apply that expertise to the entire kinome.
3. Outpatient payment adjustments for dedicated cancer centers: Support for legislative correction to Section 603 of the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015 due to changes in the definition of covered hospital outpatient services in the underlying legislation. Patent Reform - The Innovation Act (HR 9) and the PATENT Act (S 1137). Opposed the mandatory fee-shifting provisions and involuntary joinder provisions in versions of HR 9. Additionally, articulated opposition to any inclusion of such provisions without any flexibility for university exemption in S 1137.
