HR 1861 - The Infrastructure Jobs and Energy Independence Act: Advocated for passage of the bill, which would authorize certain energy royalties to fund Federal infrastructure investments. (Entire Bill)
HR 3407 - Alaskan Energy for American Jobs Act: Advocated for legislation to end the moratorium on the development of energy resources in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR). (Entire Bill)

Prevailing Wage Laws/Davis Bacon and Related Acts: Advocated for the consistent application of prevailing wage laws to federally assisted construction projects. (No Bill introduced)
HR 5325 - Energy and Water Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2013: Lobbied against the King (IA) amendment (H.AMDT.1218) to bar the use of funds in the bill to implement, administer or enforce prevailing wage requirements when awarding federal contracts under the Davis-Bacon Act.
HR 5854 - Military Construction/Veterans Affairs Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2013:
Lobbied against the Franks (AZ) amendment (H.AMDT.1168) that would bar the use of funds in the bill to enforce Davis Bacon Act prevailing wage requirements.
Lobbied in support of the Grimm (NY) amendment (H.AMDT.1160) that would strike language from the bill that would prohibit federal government construction contracts funded by the bill from requiring or prohibiting project labor agreements.
HR 4310, S 3254 - National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013:
Lobbied against the Bartlett (MD) amendment (H.AMDT.1106) that would prohibit government agencies, when awarding federal construction contracts, from requiring or prohibiting contractors to enter into labor agreements or from awarding or withholding contracts on the basis of contractor decisions regarding such agreements.
Lobbied for the removal of provision in contained in Division C, Title 31 of the House Bill that would transfer authority and responsibility for regulation, policy, and oversight of health, safety, and security in the nuclear security enterprise from the Secretary of Energy to the Administrator for Nuclear Security.
S 1843 - The Representation Fairness Restoration Act: Lobbied against the entire bill which sought to redefine what constitutes a collective bargaining unit and would overturn a NLRB decision allowing small units to be organized.

HR 1169/S 1893- The National Guard Technician Equity Act: This legislation would amend titles 5, 10, and 32, United States Code, to eliminate inequities in the treatment of National Guard technicians and to reduce the eligibility age for retirement for non-Regular service. (Entire Bill)
H.R. 4310, S 3254 - FY 2013 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA): Lobbied for the inclusion of language to provide National Guard dual-status technicians improved rights under federal laws regarding workplace matters.
Lobbied to include provisions in the FY 13 NDAA to benefit Nation Guard dual-status technicians, including:
1) Allowing conversion to a non-dual status position after 20 years of service;
2) Requiring the federal government to pay their health care premiums while on state active duty in the U.S.;
3) Extending the Federal Employee Retirement System Social Security supplement to them; and
4) Prohibiting the National Guard Bureau from requiring repayment of student loans or enlistment bonuses.
No Bill #: Lobbied in opposition to cuts in the civilian workforce at the Department of Defense, including possible base closures.
S. 1798, HR 3337 - Open Burn Pit Registry Act of 2011:Lobbied in support of the bill which would create a registry for members of the armed services who were exposed to "burn pits" while in combat zones.
PL 112-81 - National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012: Lobbied the House Armed Services Committee and the Senate Armed Services Committee on Sec. 519, requiring the Administration to conduct a study on the termination of military technicians programs.

S 1813, HR 4348 - Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act: LIUNA advocated for the passage of the bill which would reauthorize the Federal Surface Transportation Act for 2 years. (Entire Bill)
HR 7 - the American Energy and Infrastructure Jobs Act of 2012: LIUNA opposed this legislation because of
the possible inclusion of HR 3813 which would have made changes to the Federal Employees Retirement System as a means of offsetting the costs of transportation spending.
