Urged Congress to tap new revenue sources or increase current user fees to ensure the Highway Trust Fund's long-term solvency.
Urged the House to approve the Surface Transportation Reauthorization & Reform Act (H.R. 3763.
Encouraged enactment of the FAST ("Fixing America's Surface Transportation") Act.
Encouraged Congress to create an exemption for equipment service technicians from the federal hours of services regulations.
Supported a provision in the Consolidated Appropriations Act (H.R. 2029). to prevent enforcement of two provisions from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administrations hours of service regulations, including the requirement that a 34-hour restart include two 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. periods and the once-per-week limit applied to the restarts use.

Opposed efforts to repeal 1031 like-kind exchanges for construction equipment and repeal the "Last in, First Out" (LIFO) accounting method.
Urged Congress to support the Death Tax Repeal Act (S. 860/HR 1105) to permanently repeal the federal estate tax.
Urged lawmakers to simplify the tax code to create an environment conducive for entrepreneurship and business risk-taking and investment, but avoid policies harmful to equipment distributors, such as dramatically extending depreciation periods.
Urged Congress to permanently increase Sec. 179 expensing levels and reinstate bonus depreciation to incentivize small business investment.
Urged Congress to extend the 2015 bonus depreciation placed in service requirement from the end of 2015 to the end of the first quarter of 2016 to allow companies that purchase equipment this year to claim bonus depreciation for 2015 even if they are not able to take physical delivery of the equipment until early next year.
Supported the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act, which reinstated bonus depreciation and permanently increased Sec. 179 expensing levels.

Urged Congress to support the Sustainable Water Infrastructure Investment Act (H.R. 499) to eliminate the state volume cap on private activity bonds (PABs) for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Supported a provision in the Fixing America's Surface Transportation Act to allow private financing options to be used in conjunction with WIFIA funding.
Encouraged support for the Regulatory Integrity Protection Act (H.R. 1732), legislation to mandate withdrawal of the Environmental Protection Administration and Army Corps of Engineers rule redefining waters of the U.S. and dramatically expanding the Clean Water Acts (CWA) scope.
