S 77/S 117/HR 1102 - legislation that would require or allow the federal government to negotiate prescription drug prices for Medicare Part D plan sponsors; Proposals to expand Medicaid "best price" rebates to dual eligibles in Medicare Part D; proposal repeal requirement that Part D plan sponsors cover all or substantially all drugs in therapeutic classes of concern; worked on proposed legislative language, which included consultation with Senate committee staff and discussions with personal staff of House
and Senate members, that would amend the current prompt payment rules in Part D in the interest of preventing fraud.
