Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015, H.R.1191/S.615: Opposed attempts by members of Congress to derail diplomatic negotiations to prevent a nuclear-armed Iran:
Opposed S.Amdt.1150 to S.Amdt.1140 (Johnson, R-Wisc.) offered 4/28/2015. Seeks to declare that any agreement reached by the president relating to the nuclear program of Iran is deemed a treaty that is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate. Failed 39-57.
Opposed S.Amdt.1147 to S.Amdt.1140 (Barrasso, R-Wyo.) offered 4/29/2015. Seeks to require a certification that Iran has not directly supported or carried out an act of terrorism against the United States or a United States person anywhere in the world. Failed 45-54.
Amendments to Military Construction and Veterans Affairs and Related Agencies Appropriations for Fiscal Year 2016, H.R. 2029: Supported H.Amdt.125 to H.R.2029 (Mulvaney R-S.C.) offered 4/29/15. Seeks to cut several overseas military construction projects from the Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO) defense-wide portion of H.R. 2029. Failed 190 - 231.

Supported H.Amdt.181 to H.R. 2028 (Garamendi D-Calif.) offered 4/30/15. Seeks to reduce the Atomic Energy Defense Activities National Nuclear Security Administration, Weapons Activities Account by $25 million and to apply the savings to the spending reduction account. Failed 149-272.

Amendments to National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016, H.R.1735: Supported Amdt.217 to H.R. 1735 (Polis D-Colo.) offered 5/14/15. Seeks to reduce from 11 to 10 the statutory requirement for the number of operational carriers that the U.S. Navy must have. Failed 60-363.
Opposed H.Amdt.226 to H.R. 1735 (Lamborn R-Colo.) offered 5/14/15. Seeks to limit funding for implementing the New START Treaty. Passed 235-182.
Supported H.Amdt.227 to H.R. 1735 (Blumenauer D-Ore.) offered 5/14/15. Seeks to require funding for the Navy's new Ohio-class replacement submarines to come from their traditional Navy accounts, instead of the Sea-Based Deterrent Fund and transfers funds from the Sea-Based Deterrent Fund back into their historic Navy budget lines. Amendments to Department of Defense Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2016, H.R.2685: Opposed H.Amdt.471 to H.R. 2685 (Forbes R-Va.) offered 6/10/2015. Seeks to strike section 8122 regarding the prohibition of the transfer of funds to the National Sea Based Deterrence Fund. The council opposes the Sea Based Deterrence Fund. Passed 321 to 111.

Supported Concurrent Resolution to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs: H.Con.Res.55: (McGovern D-Mass.) offered 6/17/15. Directs the President, pursuant to section 5(c) of the War Powers Resolution, to remove United States Armed Forces deployed to Iraq or Syria on or after August 7, 2014, other than Armed Forces required to protect United States diplomatic facilities and personnel, from Iraq and Syria. Failed 139 to 288.
