Lobby the U.S. government to exercise a veto and oppose the cession of the British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT) to Mauritius. Advocate for the return of the Chagossian people to BIOT, balancing their rights with U.S. and U.K. defense interests. Push for the continued long-term use of BIOT for defense purposes, ensuring its strategic role is preserved. Support environmental protection of the territory and align with the Presidents stance on this issue. Engage in advocacy with both the public and relevant officials.
