Contacts in support of Unborn Child Pain Awareness Act (H.R. 5276), H.R. 5111 (popularly known as the "Protect Life Act"), and the No Taxpayer Funding of Abortion Act (H.R. 5939), and inclusion of support for H.R. 5939 in agenda for action for the 112th Congress. NRLC was a signatory to a letter to the FDA Commissioner dated July 28, 2010, raising concerns about Ulipristal Acetate (marketed as "ella") and urging that it not be approved.
Contacts to Senate in opposition to Burris Amendment to defense authorization bill (S. 3454), a proposal to lift longstanding ban on use of U.S. military facilities for abortion, adopted by Senate Armed Services Committee on May 27, 2010.
