HR 3962-To provide affordable, quality healthcare for all Americans and reduce the growth in health care spending, and for other purposes.
Comprehensive Immigration Reform:
Enacting an overhaul of the immigration system which would include a legalization of undocumented immigrants, re-establish the rule of law in the immigration system and help the nations economy to get back on track nu .
Health Care Reform:
Ensuring that any final health care reform bill does not place onerous restrictions on immigrant access to insurance, such as the prohibition against undocumented immigrants from purchasing insurance.
FY 2010 Appropriations:
Making sure that spending bills for Fiscal Year 2010, specifically for the Departments of Commerce, Justice and Science and Related Agencies and the Department of Homeland Security, do not contain any measures which either increases enforcement funds without comprehensive immigration reform or that places onerous restrictions on immigrants and U.S. citizens alike.
DREAM Act:
Working with House and Senate cosponsors to enact legislation that would allow certain long-term undocumented students to remain in the United States and regularize their status.
