Monitored comprehensive health care reform bills in the House and Senate, and lobbied in favor of small business subsidy language in the final Senate bill. The bill provides a tax credit beginning in 2010 through 2013 for businesses and 501(c) organizations with less than 25 employees and average wages below $50,000. H.R. 3962 passed the House Nov. 7; Senate passed bill Dec. 24.
