Legislative proposals to reauthorize Pub. L. 111-347, the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act, an Act to amend the Public Health Service Act to extend and improve protections and services to individuals directly impacted by the terrorist attack in New York City on
September 11, 2001 (no bill introduced). Coverage under the Public Safety Officers Benefits Program for public safety officers who die of a medical condition developed as a result of exposure to toxins during the rescue and recovery efforts following the collapse of the World Trade Center buildings on September 11, 2001.
